The logic of power vs. the way of compassion and the praxis of service.

(English): Power and authority… This is not the way it is among you

(Japanese): 偉い人たちが支配し、権力をふるっている。しかし、あなた方の間では、そうではない。
(Spanish): Poder y autoridad de quienes dominan… No ha de ser así entre vosotros

(English): The disciples were thinking and acting according to the logic of power. But Jesus recommends the praxis of service and compassion.
The human relations within the Church should be different from the vertical way of ruling and dominating in a club, in a corporation, in an army corps or in a political party. The human relations within the Christian community, as a “family of families” should be horizontal relationships of fraternity and sorority. Even the word hierarchy should disappear of the Christian lexicon.

(Japanese): 弟子たちは「権力の論理」に従って考え、行動しよとしていました我、イエスの道はちがいますイエスは「型破りの人間関係｣を勧め、「もうひとつの社会を創ろうとします。「支配」、「押し付け」、「権威」などの縦社会のあり方とは違ってイエスは「兄弟・姉妹｣の人間関係をすすめ、まさに「型破りの社会作り｣めざそうとしていました。教会はクラブでも、軍団でも、企業でも、政治的な政党でもありません。教会についてのこれらあやまったイメージとはちがってイエスは「兄弟・姉妹」的なつながりを進められます。

(Spanish): La manera de hablar y actuar de los discípulos de Jesús, tal como la retrata Marcos, delata que funcionaban según la lógica del poder, mientras que la comunidad de seguidores de Jesús ha de arriesgarse a contrarrestar, como sociedad alternativa, la tendencia a dominar, imponer, controlar, someter y mandar. La comunidad cristiana no es un club, ni un cuerpo militar, ni una empresa, ni un partido político. Pero, a lo largo de la historia, las iglesias han caído frecuentemente en la tentación de convertirse en una de estas cuatro clases de agrupaciones y ha funcionado como sociedad vertical según los juegos del poder y la dominación, empeorados cuando se abusa del poder apelando al secreto de las conciencias.
